We were very pleased to be able to secure this Tasmanian born bull in 2024. He was bred by Reg and Rebecca Woodiwiss at their Royston stud, Sunnyside.
In 2023, we visited various Tasmanian Studs as part of the Shorthorn Beef Board tour organised by Reg Woodiwiss. We were very impressed with the Royston cattle.
TNT is a full ET brother to the sensational sire, Sprys Extra Special N61, who sold for $44,000 to Outback Shorthorns and is ‘breeding the house down’, according to Gerald Spry. Extra Special’s daughter sold for $51,000 at Dubbo.
Both Extra Special and TNT are by Canadian Supersire, Muridale Thermal Energy and have excellent EPDs. TNT is top 2% for marbling which is backed up by excellent raw scanning data.
A deep red bull, TNT is homozygous polled and myostatin negative.
