Countess
Our Countess family is another famous family from the Trengoves' elite Broughton Park herd. These cows bred very well, producing many show ring Champions as well as top class bulls.
The family came from the Cocomah Stud in 1975. In their purchase of the three Cocomah heifers, the Trengoves secured the complete heifer offering. The Countess family went on to become one of Broughton Park's most prolific and successful lines.
We purchased 8 Countess females from Broughton Park. They are magnificently bred; their sires include super sire Weebollabolla Theodore, Trevino Statesman 1st, the $28,000 sire Futurity Wallaby, the Canadian sire Rockdell Pride, Broughton Park Goldrush A020 and Waukaru Gold Ship (imp USA). We believed all met the 'benchmark' of the Broughton Park Stud that all females sold at their sales were capable of breeding 'a good structurally sound above breed average sale bull'.
