Crooked Post Grissom 24T is a fine red bull bred by the Crooked Post stud of Alberta, Canada.
He was used very heavily there with semen also sold to the U.S and Uruguay. He scanned very well in Canada with his data placing him at the top of the breed for many important economic characteristics. He is top 2% for Yearling Weight, top 3% for Weaning Weight and top 2% for Milk. Grissom is homogeneously polled with a large scrotal size and is a very sound and quiet bull.
Yamburgan have been very happy with his calves and his daughters are now breeding well there too. Grissom has also been used by The Grove and Outback and his bull progeny have averaged over $7000 at sale in Australia.
Even with limited data available in Australia, Grissom was a BreedPlan trait leader for 200, 400 and 600 day weights, Carcase Weight and Retail Beef Yield. His granddaughter, Toogimbie Nita Lotus, is one of the top cows in the Toogimbie herd.
