This bull was the best bull of his year in our herd. He has excellent marbling (top 2%) and his mother is one of the highest marbling cows in the Shorthorn IGS data base at top 1%. He is a beautiful dark red color with high calving ease and moderate growth.
Rodrigo is by Bayview Becker N1 and his dam, Nita Lotus N52, is sired by Toogimbie Jesse James J94 who has proved himself time and again in our herd.
Rodrigo has been a dominant bull in a multi sire joining and 3 of his sons have been used in the herd. His son V146 is one our our best bulls of 2024. This is the opinion of Liam Cardile, Beef Excel assessor.
